SUMMER PARTY NIGHT
SATURDAY 12th JULY is the Salsa-Asi ! Summer Party Night at WESTGATE HALL, WESTGATE HALL ROAD, CANTERBURY, CT1 2BT. Further details yet to be confirmed, but the evening will include:
The unique and incomparably elegant and sensual MARCHANT and DAVINA from Alchemy Dance Co, who will perform and teach the Intermediate/Advanced level class, followed by their fabulous show;
Classes for Absolute Beginners, Beginners Plus and Improvers levels;
Free Light Buffet; Free Prize Draw Entry; Free-Style Dancing; Free Socialising!!
Bar available (Unfortunately NOT free)
Shoes to buy from The Dance Store.
Fun not only for dancers of all levels and ages, but also for those who would like an evening of something different from the pub, with great Salsa Music all evening.
Tickets: £15 on the door (£14 in advance).
REGULAR CLUB NIGHTS
TUESDAYS
From 25th March 2008 at The ALEXANDER CENTRE PRESTON STREET FAVERSHAM ME13 8NY. Town Centre venue, nearby car park, with excellent dancefloor and a bar.
Classes for Beginners; Beginners Plus; Improver; Intermediates. (For description of levels, please see Canterbury below).
Warm-up followed by all classes: from about 8.30pm. Freestyling until 11pm.
Cost: £6 (£5 concessions with i.d.).
Please note: Due to other bookings, the venue will NOT be available on the SECOND TUESDAY of each month.

WEDNESDAYS
As from 4th JUNE 2008, every Wednesday at the SPORTS BAR, BODY AND MIND CENTRE, CANTERBURY HIGH SCHOOL, KNIGHT AVENUE, CANTERBURY CT2 8QA.
Doors will open: 8pm
Warm-up, followed by classes (which last approximately 1 hour): from about 8.30pm
Levels: Beginners and Improvers.
Freestyle dancing until 11pm.
Cost: £6 per person (£5 Concessions with i.d.)

THURSDAYS
The WESTGATE HALL, WESTGATE HALL ROAD, ST PETERS LANE, CANTERBURY, CT1 2BT
(This venue is just off the City Centre in St Peters area, close to Marlowe Theatre [turning opposite Nandos]. It has a first-class dance floor and a bar)
Doors open: 8pm
Warm-up followed by classes: from about 8:30 pm
Levels: Complete Beginners (Basic Steps); Beginners Plus (for those with Basic Steps); Improvers (Straightforward Routines); and Intermediate (Faster, more Complex Routines)
Freestyle dancing from about 9:45 to 11:00 pm
Cost: £6 per person (£5 concessions with i.d.)

'NEW!' In Canterbury on Thursdays, we are holding extra classes before the main Salsa classes, and which it is planned will include Bachata, Merengue, Chachacha, Rueda and Eager Beavers (for those who wish to have extra help to step up from Beginners/Beginners Plus to the next level). The exact details have not yet been finalised, but these classes will start at 7.30 sharp, and last for 50 minutes. We may introduce other 'extras', please let us know if you have any ideas or suggestions. Full details to follow.
OCCASIONAL MONDAYS
Orange Street Music Club

(just off High Street, close to Cathedral entrance)
We are now a regular feature at this great City Centre Club, and proud to be associated with it. We will appear every THIRD MONDAY of the month, to play Salsa music (including some Bachata, ChaChaCha, Merengue) only, DJ’d by Salsabob. Please note that this is a dance/fun night only, no classes.
We will be there to not only provide the music, but also to dance (please ask us, don’t be shy) and to animate in the unlikely event things go quiet!.This is a unique environment with a very friendly atmosphere, where you can dance, drink, chat or just sit and ‘chill’.
Entry is usually free, unless there is a live band playing as well, in which case the Club will charge for admission.
